Once you have it unlocked and equipped, you can set out to find the love of your life. To marry someone in Skyrim, you will need the Amulet of Mara. There are a total of 30 female NPCs and 36 male NPCs that you are able to marry in Skyrim. Most of these romance options require you to complete a task or two to win over their affection before marriage.
